Springfield International School offers Early Childhood Education (ECE), Primary and Secondary education programmes. Using an international curriculum based on the Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) curricula, the school ensures a smooth transition from ECE, Primary and Secondary through to graduation.

In addition to our international curriculum, Springfield students experience a Christian education in a variety of ways: through daily devotionals, Character Building and Christian worldview subjects, weekly assemblies with spiritual messages, and special events. The development of Christian values and perspectives is also encouraged by faculty through all subjects.

One major goal of Springfield International School is to develop lifelong learners that will still be highly inquisitive and adaptable long after their formative education has been completed. Springfield’s holistic approach fosters in students the ability to work independently and collaboratively, teaching them to think critically rather than focusing simply on the acquisition of knowledge, and by developing a global mindset tolerant of all things and everyone.

While English is the primary language of instruction, Springfield also focuses on multilingual learning. In addition to Bahasa Indonesia studies, well-developed English First Language and Chinese Foreign Language programmes expose students to two of the world’s most commonly used languages. Students are expected to attain a high level of proficiency in both oral and written English and Chinese.

Primary and Lower Secondary students prepare for CIE examinations in Grades 6 and 8 respectively through the Primary and Secondary Cambridge Checkpoint frameworks. Grade 9 and 10 students study the Cambridge International General Certificate in Secondary Education (IGCSE) curricula for a variety of core and option subjects, sitting external examinations in Grade 10. Grade 11 and 12 students study the Cambridge Advanced (A) Level curricula in preparation for CIE subject examinations in Grades 11 and 12.
